Garrett Baez serves as a Paralegal at Okhovat Law Group where he plays a key role in supporting litigation, discovery, legal writing, and case file management. A graduate of the prestigious Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, Garrett brings both academic excellence and sharp analytical thinking to the practice.
Widely regarded for his attention to detail, technical proficiency, and strong problem-solving instincts, Garrett consistently enhances the firm’s operational efficiency. His natural intuition, combined with a disciplined work ethic, allows him to anticipate legal team needs and deliver high-value support well beyond his years.
Marieke Cahill (they/them)
Manager/Paralegal
Marieke Cahill is passionate about providing holistic and rigorous legal support to our clients. They hold degrees in music, business, and psychology and are currently participating in the Law Office Study Program. Their knowledge and expertise in the areas of business, psychology, neurodivergence, multi-culturalism, and LGBTQ+ issues helps us thoroughly and compassionately advocate for clients and families across the spectrum of diversity.
Malka Nazar
Paralegal
Malka Nazar is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where she earned her B.A. in Criminology and Law and a double minor in Conflict Resolution and International Studies with an emphasis on the Middle East. She completed her Paralegal training and certificate with the University of California, Irvine and became a certified Mediator for Small Claims and Civil Harassment.
Malka is a highly skilled and experienced family law paralegal with years of experience in the legal industry. Malka provides assistance with a wide range of family law cases including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, civil harassment and domestic violence restraining orders, and prenuptial agreements.
When she isn't working as a paralegal and legal assistant, Malka enjoys spending time with her fiancé and kids and taking her golden retriever on walks.
